Four on a motorbike
And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count.
It's the life in your years.

So many things, so little time

The list is endless, but we can start here:

  • Dress like the locals and see how many people you can fit onto a motorbike.
  • Join the rest of the world in discovering Bali's waves - surf! Or parasail, fish, dive, snorkel, paint, bungee jump, trek, bicycle, raft, water ski, and more.
  • Shop and bring home some of the most amazing pieces by some of the most skilled and talented artisans, for less than you or your friends will ever guess.
  • Check out the hip hangouts, from the warungs to the restaurants to the nightclubs; from no star to five stars. Crack a wood-oven baguette over a working rice field. Sip an iced lemon tea while enjoying freshly grilled seafood on the beach (glorious sunsets free of charge!).
  • Pamper yourself at a spa or at some of the most breathtakingly beautiful beaches. Get a massage, or learn to give one.
  • Witness a Hindu cremation. Study Balinese gamelan. Dance the Legong. Watch a world-class kite-flying competition. Lift an 80-kg (176 lbs) life turtle. Visit an open burial. Photograph the underwater. Ride a baby elephant. Marry in a temple. Teach a mynah to count. Cross-pollinate some plumeria.
  • Or simply take in the balmy breeze, the local hospitality, and the enduring mystique which are uniquely, and unmistakably, Bali.
